Verse of the Day
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. — 1 John 1:7 (NIV)

Children’s Ministry news

Greetings! We love seeing kids in our church and have lots of opportunities for them to learn, worship, and serve. image1

Sunday School is during the 10:30 am worship service. Children join their parents in Church for the first 20 minutes of worship and are then escorted to age appropriate activities, while the adults enjoy Bible teaching and prayer. They return for the Peace to be with their family at the receiving of bread and wine.
We will continue with our Discipleship Jr. curriculum as we go through the Gospels with interactive discussions and activities for grades PreK-5.
On the second Sunday of each month, kids and youth stay in the service. Kids will come forward to enjoy a short lesson and the return to their seats for the teaching.

A nursery is available upstairs every Sunday for ages 0-3.

image3 - CopyKids had a fun time at Bible Memory Challenge on Wednesday nights during Lent! We memorized Psalm 119:105, Colossians 3:23, and Romans 8:28, and Matthew 28:19 (The Great Commission). We participated in games, songs, Bible stories, and a service project.
On Easter, we used Resurrection Eggs in Sunday School to learn about the Resurrection story and also had a fun egg hunt after service.

Musically Creative is offering a Worship and classical Keyboard, voice and guitar class in our building on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during the summer. Check their website.

We offer a Protecting God’s Children class to train our team and offer this resource to anyone interested. So far this year 18 church members have taken the training. Please contact Lauren with any questions. This is a required class for children’s and youth group volunteers, as well as staff and vestry, but we also recommend that parents take it too for excellent information about keeping kids safe.

School Supplies for Mission Trip:
Crayons, backpacks, pens, markers, pencils, notebooks, looseleaf paper, binders, glue sticks, folders, rulers.

Please pray for our team of volunteers as we prepare for this exciting ministry!

Please sign up on the hall counter for any of the above events or contact Lauren,
