Verse of the Day
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. — Psalm 103:17-18 (NIV)

Children’s Ministry news

Greetings to you this Lent!

Sunday School is during the 10:30 am worship service. Children join their parents in Church for the first 20 minutes of worship and are then escorted to age appropriate activities, while the adults enjoy Bible teaching and prayer. They return for the Peace to be with their family at the receiving of bread and wine.
We will continue with our Discipleship Jr. curriculum as we go through the Gospels with interactive discussions and activities for grades PreK-5.

A nursery is available upstairs for ages 0-3.

image3 - CopyKids are having a fun time at Bible Memory Challenge on Wednesday nights! So far we’ve memorized Psalm 119:105, Colossians 3:23, and Romans 8:28. Only one more lesson on April 5 and then we’ll have a review party for our Holy Week Wednesday Night April 12, but it’s never too late to join in on the fun!

Musically Creative is offering a Worship and classical Keyboard class in our building on Thursdays. Check their website.

Next Protecting God’s Children class is scheduled for April 23rd after the 10:30am service. So far this year 18 church members have taken the training. Please contact Lauren with any questions. This is a required class for children’s and youth group volunteers, as well as staff and vestry, but we also recommend that parents take it too for excellent information about keeping kids safe.

Plans for SonSurf VBS are in the works! Camp is June 26-30, 9am-12noon; but it can’t happen without trained and excited volunteers! Please sign up on Hall counter to volunteer, and for a training session (Sun, 4/2, and more dates TBA). All volunteers must be screened and trained by May 1 so that we can open up registration to families.

Family Service Sundays on 2nd Sunday of the month, next is Mother’s Day, May 14.

Opportunity to serve: Stop Hunger Now packing party May 13.

Please sign up on the hall counter for any of the above events or contact Lauren,
