Teaching Worship skills in Kenya
Sharon Dennis and Doris MacDonald have been privileged to work as music leaders and train others in worship and music skills, especially here at Church of the Word. Now, they are being asked to join a team from Fairfax Community Church to go to Kenya in May, 2010.
Their part will be to train future leaders at the Kima International School of Theology located in western Kenya near Lake Victoria. Many of its students are training for pastoral ministry and come from five East African nations. In addition, Sharon and Doris will do some concerts in some of the local schools.
They have also been invited to the Rafiki Children's Center outside Nairobi to sing with the children and perhaps do some music training. This is where Scott Adams visited on a previous mission trip.
